DELL Announces 2009 India Finalists

We are delighted to announce the India winners for the inaugural year of Dell’s Small Business Excellence Awards! We had interesting profiles of candidates, using technology in fields as varied as health care, education consulting, wild life conservationists and many more. Here, we present the top 10 who were our finalists.

• Ace Brain Systems and Software Ltd - Pune, Maharashtra, an IT Solutions provider that has used IT innovatively to improve profitability, growth as well as acquire new customers. The company has invested in systems like ABSM/CRM (Ace Brain Support Monitor), an in-house developed application to monitor and resolve customer complaints in 357 locations across states. Some of the benefits of the application are monitoring customer complaints, automated service call assignment to engineers, resolving number of visits to close call, tracking the spares received from principal company and time calculations for the same.

In order to avoid any form of counseling bias and meet varying client needs, the educational consulting company has created a searchable database of all the courses that are on offer through the institutions represented by it. This has further been web-enabled through their website, with transactional ability, to complete the entire admission process including visa and payments electronically without being constrained about any location in India.
• Cerulean Information Technology Pvt Ltd - Bangalore, Karnataka, is an E-Learning and Training solutions company. Automation of the business processes have helped them improve operational efficiency and thereby attract more customers using their lower costs’ base. The firm has automated systems built into their own process management system which includes various modules like Training, Accounting, Budget, Process Management, Productivity, Recruitment, Administration and Task Tracking System. This helps them improve their productivity, maintain automation at all levels within the company and reduce their operating costs.

• GreenMangoOnline Marketing Services Pvt Ltd - Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh an online marketing company offering, an online platform to small business owners to extend their business reach and convenience to end users.
